PicFetch AI vs PicMyShot: The Honest Indian Studio Comparison
Compare guest friction, pricing predictability, and DPDP Act 2023 biometric safety between PicFetch AI and PicMyShot / PBJ.live.
PicMyShot, PBJ.live, and similar event platforms frequently require attendees to download an app or pay per-photo/credit download fees, causing massive guest drop-off at live Indian celebrations. PicFetch AI eliminates guest friction with a pure browser-based QR experience (zero app installs), zero selfie storage in strict compliance with India's DPDP Act 2023, and flat ₹350/mo studio pricing with unlimited guest downloads.

3 Major Reasons Studios Choose PicFetch over PicMyShot
85%+ Guest Adoption vs <20% on App-Gated Tools
Venue Wi-Fi and congested 4G/5G mobile networks cause guests to abandon 50MB app installs. PicFetch operates instantly in the native mobile browser, maximizing guest participation.
No Guest Paywalls or Per-Photo Fees
Indian wedding guests expect their photos as a gift from the host family. Gating downloads behind paywalls or credits creates friction. PicFetch allows unlimited, lossless downloads under a transparent studio monthly plan.
Full Legal Protection Under India's DPDP Act 2023
Under India's DPDP Act 2023, studios act as data fiduciaries. Retaining biometric guest selfies without strict purpose limitation creates regulatory liability. PicFetch processes selfies exclusively in RAM and destroys them immediately.
